Until recently Honduras coffee had not made it to the summit of the speciality coffee market due to mediocre coffee processing and transporting, little inward investment to put things right and the lack of a distinct brand in the consumer market. However, the great soil, altitude, climate in the Honduras combined with farmers increasingly better-trained in agricultural practices is resulting in some amazing coffees.
This single origin Honduras Coffee has been grown Strictly at a High altitude (SHG), meaning that the coffee grows slower resulting in a sweeter tasting coffee.
Honduras is a Central American country with Caribbean Sea coastlines to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south. In the tropical rainforest near Guatemala, the ancient Mayan ceremonial site Copán has stone-carved hieroglyphics and stelae, tall stone monuments
