While every coffee is unique, there are some broad flavour “families” you’ll often find in single origins:
Central & South America (e.g. Brazil, Colombia) – usually chocolatey, nutty, caramel-like, often very approachable and crowd-pleasing.
East Africa (e.g. Ethiopia, Kenya) – often fruity, floral, citrusy, with brighter acidity and more pronounced aromatics.

Yes – many of our single origin coffees work beautifully as espresso, especially those with chocolatey, nutty or caramel tasting notes (often from Central or South America). These make lovely, sweet shots and pair very well with milk.
If you prefer brighter, fruitier espresso, some African single origins can be fantastic too – they’ll give you a more lively, complex shot. Just choose espresso grind at checkout if you don’t have your own grinder. If you mainly drink milk-based drinks and want something familiar, start with a chocolatey single origin or one of our House blends.

Single origin coffees are very versatile and can be brewed with whatever equipment you already have at home – espresso machine, V60, AeroPress, cafetière, stovetop and more. They’re particularly rewarding with methods that highlight clarity and nuance, such as:
V60 / pour-over – great for bringing out fruity, floral and citrus notes.
