Roasters Reserve is York Coffee Emporium’s collection of rare, limited edition coffees. Each release is chosen for its distinctive origin, varietal, processing method or flavour profile, then roasted in very small batches to showcase the character of the coffee.

Many Roasters Reserve coffees come from short-run micro-lots, experimental harvests or rare varietals. Some arrive in extremely limited quantities, which means each release is only available while that particular lot lasts.

Most Roasters Reserve releases are single origin coffees, selected to highlight the character of a specific farm, region, varietal or processing method. This makes them ideal for coffee drinkers who enjoy exploring distinctive flavour profiles.

Experimental coffee processes use distinctive fermentation, drying or post-harvest techniques to create unusual flavour characteristics. In Roasters Reserve, these coffees may show more complex fruit notes, florals, sweetness or depth than a more traditional roast.

Some coffees may return if the same producer releases another suitable lot, but many Roasters Reserve coffees are one-off releases. Once a small batch has sold out, it may not be available again.
