Rwanda Kirunga

Sourced from the renowned Rwamatamu washing station, Kirunga Lot 1 showcases the depth and complexity Rwanda is capable of producing. Grown in the fertile, high-altitude regions influenced by volcanic soils, this coffee develops a layered sweetness and structured body through careful washed processing.

In the cup, it presents a darker, more developed flavour profile compared to brighter East African counterparts. Notes of cola and molasses bring a rounded, almost spiced sweetness, while raisin adds a subtle fruit depth that carries through the finish.

This is a coffee designed for those who favour richness over sharp acidity — balanced, composed, and deeply satisfying.

DPD NEXT-DAY DELIVERY

Orders placed with DPD before 8:30 am will be sent via Next Day Delivery,; however, this doesn't include weekends. Any orders dispatched on Friday will be delivered on the following Monday.

Any orders weighing over 2.5 kg will be sent via DPD Courier. Your confirmation email will notify you if this is the case. Green coffee orders are restricted to a maximum of 10kg.

This option excludes Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands.

For those local to York, we have free local collection points throughout the city that we deliver to on Wednesday and Friday mornings. Orders placed from Friday to Tuesday will be delivered to the chosen collection point on Wednesday morning. You will be notified via email when your order is ready. Available to collect from the Greengrocers (during opening hours) on the Friday after you receive your shipping email. The store is not open on Wednesdays.

You will have one week to collect your order from your chosen location. Any unclaimed orders will be returned to the York Emporium roastery for collection once this period has elapsed
