Kenya Gakuyu-ini Coffee

Coffee
Information

A Kenyan coffee is always a crowd pleaser here at the Roastery and this exquisite Gakuyu-ini coffee does not disappoint. It even has an SCAE cupping score of 88 - it's a cracking coffee!
If you enjoy a sweet, fruity and juicy coffee - definitely pop this on your list as one to try.

We recommend brewing this beauty using the Hario V60 or Aeropress, both are perfect for bringing out all of that fruity goodness!

Gakuyu-ini is located in Kirenyaga County in the Central highlands of Kenya and is a member of the Thirikwa Cooperative Society. The factory is a set in a beautiful, forested location and is surrounded by thousands of smallholder subsistence farmers who grow coffee as a cash crop alongside potatoes, bananas, mangoes, avocados and some livestock - usually a cow or two for dairy production and chickens for eggs and meat.
