We've been searching for the perfect Colombian to add to our spring range and this little beauty really stood out on the cupping table.
The La Esparanza has a super smooth vanilla butterscotch body with juicy red apple acidity that is balanced beautifully with sweet golden kiwi.
This is a wonderful natural organic processed coffee.
The Family operated farm of Jailer produces some of the areas finest specialties, the farm is planted out with some wonderful red and yellow caturra's. La Cumbre is 2 hours from Planadas, located in a remote valley of the Central Andes. As with many small farms, the challenge is to get the coffees to some form of road for collection, so we feel very lucky to be able to offer you this coffee.
The El Esparanza farm is located in the Tolima province of Colombia. The farm at an altitude of 1900 M.A.S.L and comprises 4.5 hectares of wonderful volcanic soils, these soils enhance the production of some very special coffees. Importantly, the farm is Maya Organically Certified.

We source, roast, blend and pack the coffee ourselves, to ensure that the coffee makes as few journeys as possible once it has left the farm.
